Las Manchas Wine House Museum was raised on a plot of the teacher’s old house. It offers to visitors a general view of the traditional, local wine-making heritage, and in addition, the possibility of wine tasting for those under the Certificate of Origin "La Palma Island".
There is a small garden with an excellent representation of the most significant vines in the Island, and a traditional cellar with an old wine-press made in the canary pine wood (called tea), as well as some different tools connected with the vineyard. Some boards complement the information and show the wine history, the yearly cycle work on grapevines or the different grapes varieties.
The surroundings of the museum have the value added of being located next to Plaza de La Glorieta (square), a place of special beauty with the outstanding combination of tiles, lava and local flora.
